"That guy didn't know you, because if he did... he would have never walked away from you." -Dawson's Creek
"He's not drawing on the desk. He's got paper, why would he draw on the desk right in front of you?" -Me
"Well, he's got a black pen, the drawings on the desk are in black pen-" -Mrs. Tarantino
"Are you saying nobody else in the world has black pens? I bet I could fine milli-" -me
"Don't undermine my authority." -Mrs. Tarantino
"I'm not, I'm just saying you shouldn't accuse hi-" -me
"I have to accuse him, he's sitting tehre so he has a black pen. There are drawings on the desk" -Mrs. Tarantino
"Alright. Im done. Im gonna stop talking now." -me
"Stop undermining my authority or Ill send you to the office" -Mrs. Tarantino
"I said I was done. Im not even talking about it anymore" -me
I was so upset with her. That's probobly the closest I've ever gotten to getting kicked out of class. She's rediculous! I swear by the end of the year I'm gonna end up getting kicked out of that class. Just because I don't like her at all, and she upsets me. She shouldn't be teaching.
During lunch I went to practice with Mr. Halstead in the chorus room with everyone else. I got up to sing and Catie Dana runs up next to me "Do you mind if I sing with you?" I obviously said no, and she was def. overpowering me, so I sang louder, and tried to sing a lot better. I did alright. I had the words and the notes, she stumbled a bit. I was talking to Anna in journalism, she thinks I may get it because Catie Dana can't dance, and she doesnt think Madison fits the part at all. YAY upside for me!
I went and practiced a bit more after school, then went off to swing club. Ian kept showing people how to do things and I was always his partner. Hmmm. And he would pick on me. Like I was commenting on something, I said "Yea, Lexie you can't think, they yell at you. I've gotten so I dont think." he goes "Well, its easy for you, I mean you were born that way" and i chased him out of the room. hah. Then later I said I was going to get him a shirt that said "I'm a sticky note" on it. Long story behind that one hah. He said he'd wear it as long as it was bright yellow, so, Im gonna get on that one. I also said a "thats what she said" type comment. We were talking about how I wasnt doing the right footwork on a turn, and I go "Hey, atleast I make it around......NOT like that" and everybody died laughing.
Right before I left swing to go to frisbee I was talking to Lilly and said...
"Alright, I gotta go to frisbee in a bit." -me
"Wait, where are you going to frisbee?" -Ian
"Skidmore, Im playing with the Wombats at their practice." -me
"....wait, you're going to a practice with the wombats? Do they have practice every monday?" -Ian
"Umm Im not sure. They invited me to go play so I said alright" -me
"Well, do you think I could come play sometime?" -Ian
"Hmm not sure." -me
He was jealous/impressed. I felt happy hah. He was impressed that the Wombats let me practice with them and then he was jealous cause he really wanted to go. :)
Anyways, so, practice was fun. They're really intense. I wasnt very up to par, but I did alright. They were all really nice. They said I was really good for only playing a little less than a year. Def. boost in the self-esteem. I made a really good point, caught a couple good passes, threw some good passes. They even want me to go back again.
So, lets see. An update on the Steve situation. Well, I like him. Yet, sometimes I just don't know. I don't feel like I'm dating him, as weird as it seems. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because we were kind of acting like we were dating before we actually dated...or...I dunno. It just doesn't seem any different. I hope that changes, if not, problems could come of it. I mean, I really like him, but if I dont find myself liking him more....then...i doubt it'll happen.
